Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
What is EFT?
EFT is a method of energy psychology – a gentle, fast and effective method to dissolve all kinds of negative feelings and emotional pain. The application of this method is simple and efficient and allows us to experience significant progress directly.
EFT is based on the assumption that all negative emotions can be traced to a dysfunction of the body's energy system. By tapping certain meridian points in combination with using affirmations blocks in the energy system can be dissolved together with negative emotions.
EFT is easy to learn and very helpful if used in everyday life.
Where does EFT come from?
The basis of EFT is the 5000 year-old Chinese model of the meridian system. This model is based on the assumption that the energies flow through the body in certain paths, called meridians. Disorders of the energy flow also affect our physical and psychological well-being. Based on the meridian system, Gary Craig developed fixed sequences of tapping which can be applied to kinds of problems and blocks.
